Call forwarding codes, carrier by carrier
The exact activation and cancel codes for 39 US and Canadian carriers — forward every call or only the ones you miss. Dial codes are pulled from VeraDial's carrier registry, never hand-typed.

Forward everything
Every call skips your phone and goes straight to the forwarding number. Use it when another number — or an AI receptionist — should answer everything.
Missed calls only
Your phone rings first; unanswered, busy, or unreachable calls forward instead of hitting voicemail. The usual pick for a one-person business.
United States — mobile carriers
Major US networks and the MVNOs that run on them. MVNOs usually inherit their host network's codes, but only carriers marked verified have codes confirmed against their own documentation.
Canada — mobile carriers
The big three Canadian networks, their flanker brands, and regional carriers. Forwarding is often a paid add-on in Canada — each guide lists what the carrier charges.
Business phone & VoIP systems — US & Canada
VoIP business lines don't use dial codes — forwarding is set in the provider's app or admin portal. These guides show where the setting lives for each provider.
Landline & home phone
Landline forwarding is provider-configured. This guide covers how to request it and what to ask for.
= dial codes verified against the carrier's own published instructions. Everything else gets the settings-based setup path — never unverified codes.
Don't see your carrier?
Check your carrier's app, account settings, or support pages for “call forwarding” — most carriers support it even when they don't publish dial codes. Device settings work too: iPhone exposes it under Settings → Phone on most GSM carriers (iPhone call forwarding guide). And if you forward into VeraDial, the app detects your carrier automatically and hands you the right steps.
Where to point your forwarding
Forward to a number that answers — not another voicemail
Point your forwarding at a VeraDial number and Vera answers 24/7 — greets the caller, handles routine questions, takes the message, and texts you the transcript.
VeraDial detects your carrier and verifies forwarding with a real test call — it calls your old number from your new one and confirms the call arrives, so you know forwarding works before a customer does.
