SMS Terms & Messaging Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

This page explains how SMS text messaging works on VeraDial: who sends messages, how you consent to receive them, what kinds of messages we send, how often, what they cost, and how to stop them at any time. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Who sends messages

VeraDial Inc. provides each account holder a dedicated business phone number. The messages sent through VeraDial are one-to-one replies and follow-ups from an individual account holder — a business or professional — to people who have contacted that business number. Every message identifies the sender by name and business.

2. How you consent to receive messages

Consent is given directly to the business. Most commonly it is consumer-initiated: when you call or text a VeraDial business number to reach that business, you consent to receive SMS replies and follow-up messages from that business, at the phone number you used, about that conversation (for example, an inquiry about a service or an appointment). You may also opt in by giving express consent during a call or in person — for example, agreeing to receive a text with an appointment confirmation, a booking link, or a quote.

VeraDial sends no bulk, promotional, or marketing messages, and a business only messages people who have contacted it or given consent to be contacted. We do not sell your mobile number, message content, or opt-in consent, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that help deliver messages (such as our telecom carrier) process this data only to operate the service on our behalf.

3. Types of messages

Conversational and transactional only — replies to your inquiry, appointment scheduling and reminders, and follow-ups about the conversation you started. We do not send marketing or promotional content.

Examples of messages you might receive:

  • “Hi, this is Maria at Bright Plumbing returning your call about your water heater — are you free Tuesday at 2 PM? Reply STOP to opt out.”
  • “Thanks for reaching out. Here’s the link to confirm your estimate — reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You receive messages only as part of your ongoing conversation with the business you contacted.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to the plan you have with your mobile carrier. VeraDial does not charge you to receive these messages.

6. Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Opt-out is enforced automatically, and you will receive no further messages from that number unless you re-subscribe.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@veradial.com.
  • To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START.

7. Acceptable use

VeraDial messaging is for one-to-one conversational and transactional replies only. Account holders may not use it to send marketing or bulk messages, or any content prohibited by mobile carriers — including messages that promote or facilitate adult content, hate, alcohol, tobacco or vaping, cannabis or CBD, firearms, gambling, illegal substances, high-risk financial services (such as payday loans, debt relief, or cryptocurrency), multi-level marketing or get-rich-quick schemes, third-party lead generation, or phishing and malware. These rules apply even when the recipient has consented. See our Terms of Service for the complete Acceptable Use Policy.

8. More information
