Fair Use Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026. The allowance terms apply to policy-v2 purchases from the effective date shown at purchase; existing policy-v1 subscriptions retain their earlier terms

VeraDial plans include SMS on a fair-use basis. Vera Plus also includes unlimited AI-receptionist answering under fair use. “Unlimited” means normal use by one real business, with Vera answering the calls that business naturally receives. It is not a license to resell the service, run a call center or automated dialer through it, send bulk or marketing campaigns, or use a VeraDial line as infrastructure for traffic that does not originate from your own business.

We may review, limit, or suspend usage that is inconsistent with normal, fair, and reasonable use of the service. Whenever reasonably possible we will contact you first and give you a chance to adjust before we take any action. We will not silently cut off a paying customer.

What's included

  • SMS for ordinary one-business use is included under this policy.
  • Vera answering is included up to the monthly amount shown on Vera Lite; Vera Plus includes unlimited answering under this policy.
  • Calling, AI calling, and live translation are included up to the monthly minutes shown on your plan. Calling minutes cover owner-connected incoming calls, outgoing calls, and calls forwarded to another phone. Included calling supports standard-rate US and Canadian destinations.

Prohibited use

Regardless of volume, you may not use VeraDial to:

  • Use autodialers, bots, robocalling, or any automated or machine-generated calling or messaging system.
  • Send bulk, broadcast, or marketing messages, or place outbound campaigns, without the recipient's prior express consent and a clear opt-out.
  • Resell, sublicense, or share your line, or route another party's traffic through it.
  • Engage in traffic pumping or any scheme to inflate call volume to high-cost or revenue-sharing numbers.
  • Use the service to receive one-time passcodes or verification codes for third-party account creation (verification-code farming).
  • Impersonate, defraud, harass, threaten, or deceive, or spoof caller ID to do so.
  • Contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted, or who is on an applicable Do Not Call list.
  • Send content that is unlawful, or that the major carriers prohibit on A2P messaging — including messages relating to illegal substances, the unlawful sale of firearms, hate speech, fraud or phishing, high-risk financial services and loans, gambling, or adult services.

Enforcement

If your usage looks inconsistent with this policy, we will normally reach out to understand your needs first — often there's a better-fit plan. Where usage is clearly abusive or violates the prohibited-use rules above, or continues after we've asked you to stop, we may throttle, suspend, or terminate the service. We reserve the right to impose limits on usage of the service at our reasonable discretion, consistent with this policy and the Terms of Service.
