702 area code
Las Vegas and surrounding southern Nevada communities.
702 is associated with Las Vegas and the surrounding southern Nevada region. Its 725 overlay serves the same area. Reno and northern Nevada use a different numbering region, so a statewide business should not label all Nevada contacts as 702 customers.

Questions about 702
Are 702 and 725 both Las Vegas-area codes?
Yes. 725 overlays 702. A newer 725 number can belong to a Las Vegas-area business just as a 702 number can; neither prefix establishes the caller's present location.
Is a 702 call safe to answer?
The 702 prefix identifies a numbering region, not a caller's identity or trustworthiness. Verify an unexpected request by contacting the organization through a number you already know.
Can I get a 702 business number?
Search the available numbers in VeraDial. Inventory changes, so a 702 number is not guaranteed. You can also keep your current carrier number and forward voice calls to a VeraDial line; existing texts stay with your carrier.
