Ask Vera: Get Answers About Your Own VeraDial Account
Ask Vera is a built-in assistant for your own VeraDial account. Ask in plain words, such as "Is Vera answering my main line?" or "How many minutes do I have left?", and she answers from your actual settings. It is available on every plan, in the mobile app's Vera tab and in the web console header.

Where to find it
In the mobile app, open the Vera tab and choose Ask Vera. In the web console at app.veradial.com, select Ask Vera in the header or from the command palette. Both open the same conversation for your account, with starter questions if you are not sure where to begin.
- Start a new conversation any time; earlier answers are not needed for a new question.
- Rate a reply to tell us when an answer missed the mark.
What she can answer
Ask Vera explains how your account is set up and where to change it. She reads your settings rather than guessing from general product knowledge.
- Which lines Vera answers, and how calls and texts are handled on each.
- Your business hours, greeting and what Vera tells callers.
- Your plan and remaining allowances.
- Where a setting lives and how to change it.
What she can change
On the web, Ask Vera can prepare a change to your business hours or greeting and show it to you first. Nothing changes until you approve it. For everything else she explains the steps instead of making the change.
Limits
Ask Vera answers questions about your account setup. She does not read your call recordings or transcripts, place calls or send messages, and she is not a replacement for support when something is broken. Use Support in the web console or email support@veradial.com for that.
FAQ
Does Ask Vera cost extra?
No. Ask Vera is included on every plan and does not use your calling minutes.
Can Ask Vera read my calls?
No. She answers from your account settings, not from call content. Your call history, transcripts and summaries are in History.
Is this the same Vera that answers my phone?
It is the same name, but a different job. Your receptionist answers callers. Ask Vera helps you, the owner, understand and adjust your account.
