Appointment Requests: Vera Takes the Job, You Choose the Time
Appointment requests suit businesses that schedule by route or job, such as HVAC, plumbing, lawn care and irrigation, rather than by open calendar slots. Vera takes the caller's address, the work needed and a preferred time, without promising a slot. You choose the time, then Vera calls the customer back to confirm it. It is part of Vera Plus, is turned on per line, and works in the app and the web console.

Turn it on for a line
Appointment requests are off by default. Turn them on in a line's settings in the app, or in the web console under Numbers → choose the line → Appointment requests. The line must have Vera answering calls.
- On that line, appointment requests replace Google Calendar booking. Turn them off to go back to calendar booking.
- Add up to five yes/no questions for Vera to confirm, such as "Will someone be home?" or "Is the gate unlocked?"
What happens on a call
Vera collects the service address, what needs doing and when the customer would like it. She tells the caller that you will confirm a time, and never offers or books a slot herself. The request appears in Needs you and under Appointments.
Confirm the time
Group jobs however your business works, enter the time you chose, and send Vera to confirm it. She calls the customer, confirms the time, asks your checklist questions and records the answers on the request.
FAQ
Does this put appointments on my calendar?
No. Appointment requests never write to a calendar. If you want Vera to book open slots directly, use Google Calendar booking on that line instead.
