Invite a Teammate to Share Your Business Number
Let someone help with the business phone without sharing your login. A teammate can handle calls, messages and voicemail on the VeraDial lines you choose, while billing and business settings stay with you.

What is included
Vera Plus includes one teammate. Vera Business includes up to three teammates. You, the owner, are additional to those places, and there is no extra seat charge. Team access requires an active eligible owner plan; Lite does not include teammate invitations.
- Each teammate signs in with their own account.
- You choose which of your active business lines each teammate can use.
- Shared calls and texts use your plan and allowances; inviting someone does not add calling minutes or remove texting registration requirements.
- A teammate does not need to buy a number or start a separate subscription to join.
1. Invite your teammate from the web console
Sign in at app.veradial.com with the account that owns the business number. Open Team & shared lines, then find Your team.
- Enter the email address your teammate will use to sign in.
- Under Allow access to, select the business line or lines you want to share.
- Select Send invitation. Pending invitations reserve a teammate place.
2. Have your teammate accept the email invitation
Your teammate opens the invitation email, follows Join the team, and signs in or creates an account using the exact email address you invited. An invitation lasts seven days. If it expires, send a new invitation from Team & shared lines.
- If the invitation is missing, check spam and confirm that you used the right email address.
- If the wrong account is signed in, sign out and use the invited address before accepting.
- Keep separate logins; there is no need to share your password.
3. Open the shared business
In the web console, your teammate selects the shared business from the business switcher to open its calls, messages and voicemail. In the mobile app, shared lines appear under Team & shared lines and in the business switcher. Use the latest available app version.
- Choose the shared business before calling or replying so you use the intended line.
- To receive calls on a phone, allow the app permissions and enable Ring on this phone for that device.
- Teammates can review shared history, make and answer calls, send messages and access voicemail on assigned lines. SMS availability still depends on the line’s carrier registration.
4. Change access when your team changes
Return to Team & shared lines in the web console to change the lines a teammate can access, revoke a pending invitation, or remove a teammate. Teammates can also leave a team and control message and voicemail notifications.
- The owner keeps control of billing, numbers and Vera’s business settings.
- Shared access covers communications on assigned lines, including their available history. Give access only to the lines the teammate should handle.
- Removing someone ends their access without deleting your business’s calls, messages or voicemail.
FAQ
Does a teammate need their own paid plan?
No. They need their own login, but joining your team does not require buying a number or starting another subscription. Your eligible owner plan provides access to the shared lines.
Can I share only one of my lines?
Yes. You choose the lines on the invitation and can change a teammate’s line access later.
Can teammates change my billing or Vera’s settings?
No. Teammates handle shared calls, messages and voicemail. Billing, number administration and Vera’s business settings remain with the owner.
Can I invite people from the mobile app?
Manage invitations and line access in the web console at app.veradial.com/dashboard/team. The mobile Team & shared lines page links you there.
